In life, two elements that we cannot change and must manage wisely are TIME, (Ephesians 5:15-17 ESV), and CHANGE. The way we handle our time and adapt to change significantly influences the trajectory of our lives. Time is a precious gift from God, given to us to fulfill a specific purpose He has in mind. Therefore, it’s crucial to contemplate how we utilize this divine gift. Dedicating more time to career development, professional growth, and fulfilling our calling can provide a significant advantage in achieving our life’s assignments.
It’s important to assess how we spend our time. Are we focusing on activities that positively contribute to our lives, or are we wasting time on unproductive endeavours? It’s essential to understand that adequate time for sleep, rest, relaxation, and reflection is not time wasted. These periods are vital for our well-being and crucial for fulfilling our purpose. We should aim to spend most of our time productively, working towards our earthly assignments.
As we move into this year, it’s important to plan for effective time management and be prepared to adapt to life’s changes. Embrace change as an opportunity to add new value to your life, whether it’s learning a new skill, adopting a new perspective, or evolving your mindset.
Plan your time carefully now, so you can confidently decline requests that don’t align with your priorities. Be open to accepting change, not just complaining about it. With this mindset, you’ll be able to soar high in the coming year and be grateful to God for His blessings. Hallelujah!
