The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Galatians, reminds us that those of us baptized in Christ have put on Christ. Faith has immersed us into Christ (Gal 3:27). Therefore, whatever God has mandated Jesus Christ to fulfill on earth, we, as Christ’s Ambassadors, are empowered with delegated authority to execute on earth.
When God spoke concerning Jesus, saying, “I, the Lord, have called you to demonstrate my righteousness. I will take you by the hand and guard you, and I will give you to my people, Israel, as a symbol of my covenant with them. And you will be a light to guide the nations. You will open the eyes of the blind. You will free the captives from prison, releasing those who sit in dark dungeons” (Isaiah 42:6-7 NLT), this mandate extended to all of us in Christ.
In light of this, we should not entertain any fear to step out and occupy the space Christ has created for us, made possible through His death on the Cross. We have become a Light of righteousness, a Powerhouse of the Living God, a force of Christ to impact nations. As God said to Joshua, “I will be with you as I was with Moses”, to earn the people’s respect and trust, God will also be with us as He was with Christ, so that we can impact and influence our space for the Lord.
Have no doubt as you speak the word of God, when you address situations to bring change, when you reach out to the unsaved or hopeless. God and His Christ will back you up with power. When you show up in the marketplace and your workspace, the Lord will endow you with wisdom that others cannot contend with. You will come up with ideas, performances, and deliverables that will draw all attention towards you. In all of this, you will publicly and privately give all the glory to Jesus. Friends, get ready, we are in for glorious times. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
