“When you do not receive the things that you hoped for, it makes you sad. But when you receive what you have always wanted, you are very happy” (Prov 13:12 EASY). Many people are very happy that the year has finally come to an end. Some are joyful because their year ended with pleasant things, and they are looking forward to the new things to come in the new year. Others may have ended the year not as they wanted and are looking forward to a better, more promising year.
Whatever the situation, the coming year provides an opportunity for renewed hope. Hope and faith for a year filled with good and great opportunities waiting for you to explore. You have Jesus, the Living Hope, to immerse you in enough excitement for the coming year.
Don’t allow anything to dampen or kill your expectations for the new year. The Lord, who was good to you in the passing year, will not stop His goodness but take it to new levels in the coming year. The Lord, who helped you navigate difficult times, will make you walk by the still waters of the new year, leading you to the new things He has prepared for you.
You will have appropriate goals and visions for the coming year; you will work out the proper plans and achieve good success. The Lord will take you to greater heights and make the coming year the best you have ever lived. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
